What do cubs do?

Cubs is the second section in the scouting family, after beavers and before scouts.  A cub is typically 8-10.5yrs old.

Cubs are on Wednesdays nights 7.15-8.45pm

Cubs do a wide range of activities, including several camps and sleepovers each year.  Activities range from arts and crafts to climbing and abseiling to kayaking and sailing – we like to give the cubs an experience of the adventure that scouting has to offer! There’s no dib, dib, dib here anymore!

Our programme is carefully planned according to the “Balanced Programme” philosophy that scouting promotes in order to provide a wide range of activities and experiences. We make the programme exciting and educating for cubs to enjoy. Have a look at our Session plan page to see more information about a typical Tuesday night!
